That is why we provide programs like\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.power2improve.com\/english-uk\/scholing-together-foundation-for-success\/\">Scholing Together<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.power2improve.com\/english-uk\/inspired-and-inspiring-teacher\/\">Inspired and Inspiring Teacher<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.power2improve.com\/english-uk\/change-the-world-this-time-for-real\/\">How to Really Change the World<\/a>. In order to\u00a0invigorate this,\u00a0we sign the Charter for Compassionate Schools. This initiative, launched by British author and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ted.com\/pages\/prizewinner_karen_armstrong\" target=\"_blank\">winner of the TED Prize 2008<\/a> Karen Armstrong, aims to teach children not only through their heads, but also &#8211; and especially &#8211; through their hearts. We fully and warmly borh endorse and support this.<\/h3>\n<div class=\"fusion-fullwidth fullwidth-box fusion-builder-row-1 hundred-percent-fullwidth non-hundred-percent-height-scrolling\" style=\"--awb-border-radius-top-left:0px;--awb-border-radius-top-right:0px;--awb-border-radius-bottom-right:0px;--awb-border-radius-bottom-left:0px;--awb-overflow:visible;--awb-margin-top:20px;--awb-margin-bottom:0px;--awb-background-color:rgba(255,255,255,0);--awb-flex-wrap:wrap;\" ><div class=\"fusion-builder-row fusion-row\"><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-0 fusion_builder_column_1_1 1_1 fusion-one-full fusion-column-first fusion-column-last fusion-column-no-min-height\" style=\"--awb-bg-size:cover;--awb-margin-bottom:0px;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-column-wrapper-legacy\"><div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;width:100%;\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div>\n<h3>Partner and community<\/h3>\n<p>By signing, and thus pledging, we have become an <a href=\"https:\/\/compassionateaction.org\/node\/5630\" target=\"_blank\">official partner<\/a>of the Charter for Compassion in general and the Charter for Compassionate Schools in particular. We now also are affiliated with the global Charter\u00a0Community.<\/p>\n<h3>Ardent desire<\/h3>\n<p>Below is Karen Armstrong&#8217;s famous TEDTalk from 2008, in which she expressed her ardent desire (from 00:17:24): a globally embraced Charter for Compassion. At the same event she asked the TED community to help reinstate\u00a0The Golden Rule: &#8216;Do not do unto others what you do not want others do unto you&#8217;. And below that the Introduction to the Charter for Compassion video to which this gave rise.<\/p>\n<p><em>You too can sign the Charter.
